What is fair trade?
Fair trade allows farmers, producers and artisans to be paid a fair price for the things they make and have to better working conditions. Some products that are not fair trade are made by workers who are not paid enough to live. The people might have to work in unsafe conditions and they might be children. We know that this isn’t fair and that EVERYONE has the right to go to school!
So far only 5% of the chocolate in the world is fair trade, but we can make that bigger. We can try to only buy fair trade chocolate so other companies join the movement to make their chocolate fair trade!
